Welcome to The SPARKies Awards!
The digital and tech awards for the West is heading back to Bristol in 2021.
For the 9th consecutive year, we'll be shining a light on the very best people, products and companies that make up the tech sector in Bristol, Bath and the broader West of England region. We can't wait!
The SPARKies will be back October 14th, at 7pm. We'll be selling tickets soon! This year we're back in Bristol and super hopeful (🤞) that we'll be meeting in person!
There are 17 categories representing the brilliance of the tech scene in the West up for grabs. We're celebrating the entire local tech spectrum - including those wonderful people and companies that work tirelessly to support and grow the cluster.
Covid - 19
We're committed to running an event that is safe. We don't yet know whether this will be virtual, hybrid or in-person with social distancing. We're watching to see how guidance and the R number changes and will make a decision based on that later in Summer.
The best use of tech for good, this covers green tech, health tech or other technologies used for the social 'good'.
For the individual or company doing the most to support the whole tech community in the West
The SPARKies is a not-for-profit event with any surplus reinvested into the community.
We purposefully price tickets as low as possible to enable as many people across the community to attend as possible. For your ticket price you get a drink on arrival, 3 x drinks tokens, a street food voucher and access to the awards.
We have a SPARKies ticket bursary for people who are underrepresented in the community or can't afford to attend. Drop us a note at email@example.com
About TechSPARK UK
TechSPARK is a not-for-profit network dedicated to connecting, educating and strengthening the digi-tech cluster in the West.
We work with tech and digital businesses from Startups to Scaleups, SME’s to Global Corporations based in the region to help them to grow, using our connections and knowledge.
We engage with over 35,000 people monthly highlighting the best in tech in the West and bringing people together at regular events.
All entrants to The SPARKies must be based within Somerset, Wiltshire, Devon or South Gloucester, including Bristol, Bath and Swindon. This is the region detailed on the map below.
If the organisation is headquartered elsewhere, but has a regional office which qualifies, it may still enter the awards. However, the activities detailed in the entry must have been led from the qualifying office.
The judge's decision regarding the eligibility of entries is final.
